Alberto Romero and Marta Rueda made something worth checking for

Alberto Romero and Marta Rueda are two young entrepreneurs from Madrid, they founded the Fluff Company. Alberto is a graphic designer and Marta is a children’s psychologist. They decided to join forces for a common goal: to help children control their emotions through games. Although at first the idea was to assemble a toy, Fluff soon took another path. In 2010 they created some funny characters that have become the face of their company: Colchón, Edredón, Culito Rana and Gamberro.

Each stuffed toy comes with practical monitor that parents can use to teach their kids how to deal with fears, tantrums or insecurities. Given the success, Fluff kept evolving. Alberto and Marta decided to take the Digital way as well. The result was the Bye Bye Fears game, a game that gives guidelines to the little ones in a fun way so darkness, monsters or small accidents do not become their worst nightmare. The app has even reached 1 spot of the AppStore on several occasions and has been awarded as one of the top 10 app’s Children. It has two versions, a free one and the paid one is 2.99 €.

The game is aimed for children between 3 and 8 years old. At that age they do not stop and they love to try new things. Any parent who is interested in the management of emotions should try it. The toy choice depends on each case. There are plenty of digital children and other ones not so much. They always say that those who know best about their children are their parents. It is important to remember that the best tool is empathy; remember what we felt when we were little and try and put yourselves in the place of your children to find simple solutions to small problems. Adults tend to complicate our lives and yet, kids simplify everything.
