Pitt was born in 1963 in Oklahoma (United States), his dad was the manager of a transport company. Later the family moved to Springfield (Missouri) where he lived with his younger brothers, Doug and Julie Neal. Brad was brought up into a very religious family; however he has stated that he feels his religious believes are between agnosticism and atheism.

He attended Kickapoo High School, where he was part of the golf, swimming and tennis teams. He also participated in school debates and musicals. He later enrolled at the University of Missouri in 1982 to study graphic design and journalism. Two weeks before Pitt was going to get his degree he dropped out from the university and moved to Los Angeles with just $325 in his pocket. He started taking acting classes and worked driving limousines and dressing as a giant chicken, for The Crazy Chicken restaurant. It took him about seven months to get an agent, the rest is history.

Brad has been part of over 46 films, including blockbusters such as Inglorious Basterds, Fight Club, Ocean’s Eleven and more. He won an Oscar for best supporting actor in Thelma and Louise and a Golden Globe for 12 Monkeys. Interesting fact, he was banned from China after starring in Seven Years in Tibet. In 2015, he played a part in By the Sea along with her wife Angelina Jolie; a romantic drama about a marriage in crisis, Pitt also wrote the script. The film was their first collaboration together since Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

His foundation have contributed with over fifteen million dollars, mostly from the sale of Brad and Angelina’s photographs  in “intimate” situations, like photos of the birth of their twins that were bought by Time magazine by sum close to ten million euros. They have funded the restoration of a New Orleans section that was devastated, and have given enormous amounts of money to Global Action for Children and more.
